As part of our continued growth, we are now preparing to launch a new project in Lisbon: Marvila Studios.
We are looking for: Operations Manager – Marvila Studios
Marvila Studios is a new project by Martinhal, located in Marvila, one of Lisbon’s most dynamic and creative neighbourhoods.
Part of the Edu Hub Lisbon, the project brings together accommodation, hospitality, education, work and community in an innovative concept designed for an international community.
With 374 studios, Marvila Studios is designed to welcome students, young professionals, participants in training programmes, digital nomads and other guests.
We are looking for an Operations Manager to join the pre-opening team and play a key role in preparing and implementing the operations of Marvila Studios.
Key Responsibilities
Support the preparation and implementation of operations during the pre-opening phase
Contribute to the definition and implementation of operational procedures and standards
Support the recruitment, training and development of the teams
Coordinate and oversee the different operational areas of the project
Ensure the quality and consistency of the service and the experience provided to guests and residents
Monitor operational KPIs and contribute to achieving the defined objectives
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience in 4- or 5-star hospitality in an Operations Management or senior operational role
Experience in managing and coordinating teams
Strong organisational, planning and operational follow-up skills
Experience in pre-opening / launching new projects will be considered an advantage
Experience in serviced apartments or aparthotels
Experience in private student residences
Experience in co-living or flexible accommodation operations
Ability to work in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive, autonomous and hands-on approach
Fluency in English is essential
