Assistant Executive Housekeeper (M/F)

We are looking for an Assistant Executive Housekeeper (M/F) to join the team at Martinhal Sagres Family Beach Resort. Working closely with the Executive Housekeeper, your main role will be to support the daily management and organisation of the Housekeeping Department, assisting the teams and contributing to the smooth running of operations while ensuring the resort’s high standards of quality, hygiene and service.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support the Executive Housekeeper in the daily management and organisation of Housekeeping and Laundry operations;
• Assist and support the room attendants, public areas teams and their respective supervisors;
• Work alongside the Executive Housekeeper to ensure compliance with established quality, service, hygiene and presentation standards;
• Assist with the organisation and allocation of the teams’ daily tasks according to operational needs;
• Provide guidance and support to the teams in their daily operations whenever required;
• Assist in resolving day-to-day situations within the department, contributing to the smooth running of operations;
• Promote effective communication between the Housekeeping team and other operational departments across the resort.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 2 to 5 years of professional experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry;
• Experience in supervising and managing teams;
• Good command of English;
• Strong organisational and planning skills, with excellent attention to detail;
• Leadership skills and strong communication abilities;
• Team spirit and a hands-on approach to working with teams;
• Proactive, responsible and solution-oriented approach;
• Passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering excellent service.
